What changed recently:No notable change can be confirmed. The 200 Trustpilot reviews read are all dated 16 October 2026, so they give no before and after comparison. The only App Store review in the last 90 days is a 1 star about the missing share option. Earlier 2026 App Store reviews that were sampled are mostly 1 star and about login, loading or service. The sample is not random, so this is not a reliable trend.
Does the brand reply?Google Play has an 81.8% reply rate. Replies are polite and apologetic, usually say the issue will be passed to the IT team, and sometimes ask for an order number by email. Many of the sampled replies date from 2019 and 2020. Trustpilot and Sitejabber show a 0% reply rate in the data.Google Play

Delivery, returns
and support

What customers report about getting an order, sending it back and reaching a person. Every point links to its source.

How is AO.com delivery?

Trustpilot customers mostly report on-time next-day delivery, time slots, driver calls and friendly crews. Sitejabber is much more negative, with reports of cancelled or moved dates, long waits and missed deliveries. One customer said AO told them its drivers are self-employed and have discretion over deliveries. One Trustpilot customer noted an extra charge for unpacking a washing machine.

How do AO.com returns work?

The data says little about the formal returns process. One Sitejabber customer got a full refund after three faulty TV exchanges. Another said returns were arranged without fuss. A third said they were offered 55% of the price after returning an oven and hob and demanded a full refund. Another said funds were held after two cancelled orders. Trustpilot and the app stores add little on returns.

How is AO.com customer support?

Support experiences are mixed. Trustpilot customers describe good after-sales help, such as a quick replacement washing machine. Sitejabber and App Store reviewers describe support that did not follow up, read from scripts or was hard to reach, including one report of a 3 hour wait on the phone. One Trustpilot customer said they were passed between phone lines over a warranty registration.

How is AO.com quality?

AO sells other brands, so product quality varies by item. Customers report a few early failures, including an oven, a washing machine, a fridge freezer and a TV. Installation quality is a separate concern on Sitejabber. Trustpilot customers who had a faulty machine report that it was replaced.
